Tuesday Mornings

We went to MOPS this morning. It was a nice quiet day. We didn’t have a lot going on this week—prayer requests, a game (my team won!), and we made a jar of brownie mix. Oh and eating—how could I forget that? We always have great breakfasts. I have a feeling more was planned, but we took a little too long visiting (My table had a great time chatting this week!) and playing our game, to get through it all. It’s really nice to get out of the house a couple of times a month to meet with other moms. The kids are well taken care of and I can be Kristy, instead of Mama for a few hours.

These are really great women, who are all so different, but we all have things to share. Some of the moms have several children. Others have their first. Still others make it clear that this is their only. We have women who work and those who stay home. We have older moms and younger moms. We have adoptive moms and biological moms.

But we’re all mothers of munchkins. And we are all Christians. It’s truly wonderful to have that. We can all pray for one another and support each other through all the craziness of these busy years: new babies, new jobs, losing family members, changing marriages, and so much more.
