Miss Gabby turned two years old on Sunday! She chose a chocolate cake, which I decorated with her favorite color (pink) roses. And I even got her name right--see yesterday's post.
We had a dinner of meatballs, corn, rolls, and mashed potatoes. She didn't approve of the mashed potatoes "don't like it!" She did like the cake and even managed to blow out one of her candles.
She enjoyed all of her presents. She is much slower to open her packages than one of the more boisterous members of our family, so it was driving her sister a little crazy to watch her open the packages.
She received many lovely things--a viewfinder, Noah's Ark, a Little People school house, a dress up dress, a tiara, two stuffed animals and her annual Precious Moment's figurine.
Happy birthday two my beautiful Gabby Girl!

What a great picture of her with the cake.
I love her Fancy Nancy dress!! It's just like the one she wears in her book. I can't wait to see Gabby in it.
