Friday Funny

So every year at their birthdays, Justin buys the girls flowers.  As Ellie’s birthday was on a Sunday, he waited to get her flowers until Monday (also Katie’s birthday).  As he’s walking out with two bouquets, the guard at the door says, “Surely you’re not in that much trouble?!”

He answered, “No, two different girls,” and kept walking. 🤣

He enjoyed telling us about the shocked guard’s face. 😳

Not sure how we got here, but to day this girl is seventeen.

She’s a senior.

About ready to fly the nest.

She has a job a drives.

Has a social life!

Looks for beauty, and captures it.

She does silly things—

Like making a unicorn cake,

And hard things—

Like earning her Stars & Stripes Award.

I can’t believe that this gal is nine today!

Determined to keep up with her siblings—here after passing her swim test—

She is funny,

Loves her friends

And animals,

Likes to be outside,

Has big opinions,

And gives great hugs!
